Broom Closet Living#16Practice Knot Magic(k)
Knotting, weaving and braiding are all good and ancient forms of magic.  You may have done this before without realizing it, by making friendship bracelets.   When making a friendship bracelet, you are binding your lighthearted and positive thoughts with each knot you make, then you give that bracelet full of happy knots (Hah! See what I did there?) to your best friends to wear every day. When practicing knotting magic, you are given the opportunity to choose whatever colors correspond to your intent, add beads and trinkets, crystals or stones, anything you want, really!  And it doesn’t have to just be bracelets or jewelry, you can knit or crochet blankets, scarves, sweaters, socks, etc.One of my favorite weaving magic “spells” I do almost every day:  In the morning, I braid my hair, trying to put positive thoughts into each weave.  Then, during the day if I need a little positive-pick-me-up, I undo my braid and release the thoughts I weaved into it.  It’s just a simple little ritual I added to my daily life!
